Intec launches label cutter

Intec Printing Solutions has unveiled the ColorCut LC600, an ‘on demand’ digital sheet label cutter designed to provide automatic sheet label cutting.

The LC600 is intended for busy print departments seeking complete unattended cutting production. It has no dies or set-up costs and Intec says users can cut ‘any shape label, in an instant.’

Mark Baker-Homes, director of product development said, ‘Intec has developed this really exciting product at a time when label suppliers need to offer an incredibly quick turnaround to companies requiring much needed health and safety labelling.’

Intec says the system’s feeder/stacker can handle up to 250 sheets and that the SmartMark registration ‘ensures superb accuracy, every time.’ The digital cutting head can apply up to 750g of pressure and is able to cut at up to 960mm per second. 

The LC600 is powered by Intec’s ColorCut Pro software and was designed with space saving in mind, coming with a retractable media catch tray that slides away when not in use.
