Cosmo Films to exhibit its laminating film portfolio at the upcoming China Exhibition

Cosmo Films, a world leader in high quality laminating films is pleased to announce its presence at fifth All in Print China show to be held in Shanghai from 14th-17th Nov 2014. The film manufacturer will be displaying its speciality laminating film portfolio along with its regular portfolio at the show with its distribution partner Sun Song, having vast experience in serving print finishing industry in China and TPE Corporation from Hong Kong, one of the oldest companies serving the industry. TPE offers laminating machines in various sizes and designs along with the films portfolio.
China is amongst the world’s largest consumer of wet, thermal and specialty thermal laminating films. The print industry in China is utilising high speed machines and is handling critical end users jobs. “However, one of the unmet needs of customers in China has been the availability of high quality thermal laminating films as well as specialty laminating films and this is where the company being the world leader is trying to plug the gap”, says Sanjay Chincholikar, vice president - global sales head, lamination films and domestic markets at Cosmo Films. Company’s speciality films comprises of soft touch velvet, linen, scuff free, silky matte and holographic films. The regular films include wet laminating films, thin/thick gloss and matte thermal laminating films.The base film used for the process can be BOPP/PET/NYLON.
With print finishing industry getting more creative with each passing day, speciality lamination films are playing a pivotal role in adding to the visual and tactile appeal of the final printed product. Films are beingused extensively to laminate high end stationary and marketing collaterals including dairies/organizers, files & folders, books, wedding albums and coffee table books in stationary and posters, banners etc. in collaterals. Films are getting quite popular for lamination of luxury product’spackaging cartons, for instance perfume, watch, liquor, mobiles and toiletries cartons. Hot foil stamping, embossing and screen printing etc. can be performed on the surface post lamination.
