Features New Cyrel® DFUV Plate and FAST 1001TD Equipment
DuPont Packaging Graphics (DuPont) is celebrating 40 years of innovation by highlighting the newest DuPont™ Cyrel® flexographic plate and equipment technologies for the flexible packaging, tag and label, and book and magazine markets at the upcoming All in Print China 2014 trade show from Nov. 14 – 17 in Shanghai. New products to be shown include DuPont™ Cyrel® FAST DFUV flexographic printing plates and the latest DuPont™ Cyrel® DigiFlow 2000 digital workflow enhancement system, designed to deliver quality, productivity and sustainability benefits to flexographic printers.

DuPont™ Cyrel® DigiFlow is a new digital workflow enhancement that expands the capabilities of digital Cyrel® and digital Cyrel® FAST to deliver superior print quality and productivity. With a simple and inexpensive modification to the existing line of DuPont™ Cyrel® exposure units, the Cyrel® DigiFlow modification is designed to be used on an “as needed basis” when a hybrid flat top dot is required. It also optimizes the benefits associated with solid screening programs such as Esko HD Flexo Microcell.
DuPont also is featuring the new Cyrel® FAST DFUV flexographic printing plate that is designed specifically for the narrow web printer who needs a high-performance plate for use with ultraviolet (UV) curable inks. It is a thermal process plate that comes up to color quickly minimizing startup waste and prints smooth and dense solids, without compromising dot gain, highlights and resolutions. This new plate can improve solid ink density, reduce waste, save time and cost in applications involving high-end substrates such as pressure sensitive and self-adhesives labels.
